Dyntopo has been a complex topic in the Blender sphere, I guess since it was introduced. There was a branch by Joe Eagar that had improved Dyntopo quite a bit, but that side project was ceased because of complications, I think it had to do with the strict development rules of the Blender devs. It was a complicated matter.
In the mean time, Blender’s brush engine has been overhauled, so I don’t know if parts of Joe’s Dyntopo branch will be integrated in the main builds or not. ![]()
