Plain old Grass

As you all may know, I have a thing for working with particles to create grass. It seems each time I do something with grass particles, it gets better and better.

Well I had been working on animating the grass with wind fields to make it look like it was blowing in the wind. The extent of my working with that can be found here-

Anyway, I got tired of working on the animation and decided to just work on making the still image look good. So I’m not quite done yet. I’m looking for c&c.

ps- the cloud background is from a picture i took.

Although the texture isn’t so great.

those tuffs kinda stick out. if they’re from the front, maybe you should make it form the entire front row.

Or your wind is too slow, or your grass is too hard , coz its almost not moving :slight_smile:
This is some really thick grass, though. But looks really good.

They’re a little too stiff. That’s all I can see. And in the thumbnail, the grass is too green. Other than that, it looks good, cause I dunno if I could do any better than that!

Well just to let you know, I’m not actually working on the animation anymore.
Also, in my opinion, the grass is a little too vibrant considering the darker background behind. I’ll try to tone it down a bit.
