How can i converta a plane to 2 triangles?
select plane
ctrl + t to triangulate
its also available from the pop-up menu - ctrl +f
and if you ever lose track of the hot key(s)
it’s also in the mesh menu (under faces - quads to triangles)
Oh,yeah,ctr+t,shame i forgot that…
Thanks.
are we talking about plane or faces here ?
triangulisation won’t change a plane into 2 triangles!
but iwill change a quad face into 2 triangles faces
now what was the real goal here changing a plane into
triangle or a plane into faces ?
Saluations
a plane = 4 sided quad
ctrl t does change a plane (quad) into 2 triangles
a plane is not 4 edges that do not have a face
he asked to convert a plane to 2 triangles
so i assume it was a quad face into 2 independant triangles or was it 2 tris’s faces!
but may be that was not the goal?
anyway if he found what he was looking for
then it’s fine with me
Salutations
Heh,too many terminology for a hobbyist like me.
By ‘two triangles’ i mean with removed doubles.
Anyway,the solution is found,thread over.
