Do i have to radiosity on or any other special render buttons enabled? oh and is there a software (free downloadable) in which i can convert any image into a HDR image?
You can only convert FROM HDRI to another format. You can’t convert an image TO HDRI. And keep in mind Blender DOES NOT support HDRI images natively. Yafray will render them yes. You might also want to be mindful of the mapping of your Angmap once you’ve added it. Set it to Real on the preview panel, and Hori/ZenUp/ZenDown on the MapTo panel 
Pretty sure those settings are best but you might want to experiment a little to get the look you want.
ya i got it - thanks! it doesn’t matter how you map it to the world for reflections only for backgrounds! i only got 5 hdri’s! :goes to google for more!
