I wasn’t able to add children hair in the video coz I only used the geometry nodes from the demo file. But I also tried this and you can add children here procedurally (curve density). Hairs - Geometry Nodes - #56 by nburkard
Lots of interesting stuff in there, just too much for me to understand how they did it.
