Please fix .3ds importer

Can someone please fix the .3ds importer for 2.50??? …to be honest i thought this fixed a while ago until today when i tried to import a few .3ds files (provided not created)


some workaround:
try to open the 3ds in Meshlab and resave the 3ds.
Than import the new 3ds into blender.

if its just a model with uv textures try obj .
Thanks, that seems like a great tool :slight_smile: … though not letting blender off the hook that easily lol, they still need to fix it.
