Please help me set up a build environment for blender on windows

i find myself building scripts and stuff around the bugs or shortcomings of blender , which is jarring and kinda hacked on top … id rather program stuff in source if i already waste my time on coding lol

but setting up c++ build environments is always hard and for blender its even more difficult.

i need some pointers from someone who actually has one on his pc too, there are probably better and worse tools i could use
