Is this a 2.4x file? Cause I tried to open it in 2.5x and it doesn’t seem to make sense.
I opened the file, but couldn’t do anything with it. The character is linked in and since I don’t know you dir structure or anything else, I can’t do anything.

sorry for not stating that earlier it was made in 2.49 i think
shows the handles under the feet doing what they are supposed to but the legs are barely moving
You will need to make you armature and mesh local then resave the file and link it again. Just select the armature hit “L” select “make objects and data local” then do the same for your mesh.
hope this is viewable, any ideas what i could be doing wrong that when i make the animation everything looks fine but when i exit out and come back the legs seem to barely move but the foot controls are going through the motion they are supposed to but the feet and legs are not in sync with em?

You have a weird setup there but it works.
The constraints on the second set of legs were keyed with the influence turned all the way down. I moved the ipo curves on the influence to make it work. you might have to do some extra tweaking.

now i didnt alter those at all and when i made it everything ran fine it was only after exiting and loading the save file that the legs got all weird any idea what could be causing that?
