Plugins Error

I’m using Blender 2.49a for video editing on Arch64 Linux. I’d like to acces the new plugins but when I access them I get and error “No Plugin” followed by the path to the plugins.

I downloaded the “official” tar file and moved the plugins dir to my ~/.blender dir. When I select a clip then Add->Effect->Plugin I point to the plugins dir, select a plugin then get the error.

I haven’t waded through the tutorials or manuals because I’m not doing any modeling, just this video editing.

Never mind. I turned the machine off last night. Came back this morning and all the plugins have “registered.”
