Poe: the Mask of the Red Death

I’m posting this in the WIPs forum although I don’t know when (or if) I will go back to revise it, but any suggestions to improve it would help.

This was created for my daughter’s b/f for a school project. Total working time;12 hours. Rendered with Blender internal.


Very intriguing. A couple of suggestions:

(1) Don’t make the corridor consist of pure opaque blackness. There needs to be some context for the flags to sit in.

(2) Should the mask be sitting or hanging on something?

Thanks for the comments Sundial. I will give them serious consideration. The time constraint on this project meant that I really didn’t have as much time as I would have liked to polish it. I still feel that the mask could be more ‘roundly’ modelled too.
