Hi everyone.

Been around awhile but never felt like I had anything worth posting, and I’m rather forum shy as well. Trying to get over that, so here I go.

Point of this was just to mess around with some basic texturing and try to make a realistic render.

It looks kindof black to me. I would’ve probably put in that smoothvelvet green cardplaying table surface as the bottom and then the valueindicating numbers to the chips.

But heres to hoping for more posts from you.

Its black something with red squares on it… doesnt look like anything to me. :stuck_out_tongue: Try adding more light.

I like the first one better. I have a feeling that a lot of people are looking at it on darker monitors and therefore can’t see the dark detail, but to me the first one looks very good. The second one needs better lighting (not more light, just more dynamicaly lit) and the shadows need to be softer.
