Poll: endi must leave Blender community

Somebody says in a topic: 80% of the people puts endi on the ingore list.
I will leave this place if the community wants.
Lets poll!

trolling can be fun sometimes.

in my thread you were mostly annoying insulting me
and showing obviously that you did not know what I
was talking about because other wise you would not
have made such a set of stupid comments.

what do you expect?

it would have been great if someone else had posted this poll. i recommend you should provoke even harder in the future so that one day somebody else creates a petition against you.

good luck!

“Leave this place and dont use Blender from now”

Use 3dsMax, now !

if the “no” will reach more than 25% in the next 5 days, I will go

EDIT:
if the “yes, leave” more than 25% at the next Monday I will go

Hi, endi.

This poll/thread is pointless. In the end you will decide on your own :). And as I know you (from your posts here on BA.org), you will go.

I will miss your game related works. And wish you good luck making games in Hungary :D.

I don’t care. I ignore you most of the time ;). Your posts may be annoying 90% of the time, but everyone has the right of free speech and if someone doesn’t like what someone else is saying, people should argue with the person about it or just ignore him.

I wouldn’t leave a community just because some people don’t like me. I’m not voting, because as I said I don’t care. You can stay or leave - as you wish.

The problem is that you can’t post a reference to another program or make a remarks about Blender and how things could (that is not always true, I know that) be better without getting the same old tired remarks. You want to make blender 3d studio max, you aren’t professional enough so your opinion doesn’t matter, you are saying blender isn’t professional… Thats the timbre of those posts.

The mantra really doesn’t make sense because Blender would be unusable if you hypothetical create an application without the features that other 3D programs have. Also it is much easier just to use those other applications.

I’ve seen some interesting threads in the past about features available in other applications which could also make Blender better and then you know (you just know) that the trolling will occur. It would be even funny if it was creative trolling or was a more informative opinion instead of oneliners !

But then again there is the ignore list which works fine. So if he stays or not, for me it really will not make any difference.

Endi, you’re one of the few sane users here, but if you leave, I totally get it why. I myself come here less and less.

That’s a bit like Photoshopping Cindy Crawford’s mole. Why, if its her cleavage you are looking at?

Endi is a great artist. Great artists are hated by 80% of the community. So welcome to the club Endi

If Blender 2.5 is final, you will be back;)

I don’t doubt your art skills you are truly an amazing artists and produce some of the best works I have seen in Blender but your people skills stink to high heaven.

It is not because you are very talented (which he is) that you don’t need to have some basic people skills. I’m even sure that he gets away with a lot because he is talented, any other guy would be flamed to hell for such behaviour.

the year of the trolls… why don’t you rename the title to “I’m still here”.

PS: and I don’t see the creative aspect or what you bring to discussions with constant trolling, but I rather think every user is valuable and blender commnunity needs everyone. :DS

My first idea was: who can say such an outrage?

but then, it was endi himself.

I have to say that I agree with endi that there are (large) number of members of this forum that take the liberty to critique Blender and developers, but actually have not much to show as an argument. Being lazy to master the application does not mean that it is bad per se. And using the argument that max does something better doesn’t always hold water

Second, endi has great sense of humor (too bad that lots of people do not understand him). Also, you should note that English is notoriously difficult language for the Hungarian speaking people (different philosophy - just as Japanese - why do you think we have very few Japanese people here) - so he might have trouble expressing himself precisely - which is often misunderstood.

So, endi, please stay. You are great artist and good man.

Come on be intellectual honest I’ve seen people with arguments (not even criticising Blender or mentioning max or any program) getting flamed. That is what bothering me. It is not the case of people coming here saying “hey program A has feature X, Blender doesn’t have it, so it sucks” Such people would aggravate me to.

But no, I have seen people (talented people, people that I hold in high regards) starting a discussion with arguments why they have a personal opinion how something could be integrated getting the same old “humor” as reaction.

Pretending his remarks are just a reaction on people being lazy or saying that “program X is better” is easy. And that is really the last that I would like to say in this discussion.

But if Endi goes away, who will be here to tell us The Joke when we mention 3dsmax?

Ah Endi, if only you had more whizzy features. Then I might tolerate you

Seriously: I think you’re a great asset to the Blender community. Thanks for sharing the fruits of your work. If you leave I’ll miss you. However it would fit the pattern I’ve seen of people developing their Blender skills to a high artistic level, then vanishing from BA to pursue serious work.
