I am curious as to how people think of NPR. Comments would be appreciated.

Non-Photorealistic? National Public Radio? Both very important.

I’ll put it as blunt as possible, people may hate me for it.

Photo realistic (PR) is but just a tiny subset of the subject that we call style. Why slave to 1 style when we can have superset of styles to explore.
