Voted no on quadro card, as I don’t have one at home AMD station. I do have one at work though (Solidworks requires it), but rendering wise 8 AMD cores renders much faster. Have Vega64 which I got for rendering, but I can’t get AMD drivers (for OpenCL) to work with my chosen Linux distro. So I’m stuck with CPU mode, which, frankly, I’m beginning to like. I can still use the computer or watch youtube stuff while rendering, which was unheard of when I rendered on GPU. I will most likely upgrade to the higher ends nextgen Threadripper stuff eventually rather than focus on GPU.
for the use of render engine the most i use is cycles & redshift, if the work is in blender then i’ll render with cycles, if the work is in c4d or houdini i’ll use redshift
this is very interesting… the most interesting is how many people use a tower, back when i was younger i feel like everyone ran on a laptop I expected that poll to be close to 50%
Alot of renderers you’ve listed are also clearly at huge minority yet you’ve listed them, same goes for alot of poll options in this survey actually. There was no point to make one if you use such logic anyway.
making a survey is making an observation on everyone, i dont see why the minority doesn’t need to be taken into consideration… for the renderers i just posted every renderers avaible for cycles i know about.
i can agree that some questions are worthless tho and somes choices too. but they are in clear minority.
