Originally, I was just going to make a key. You know, just a small item that serves as extra clutter in the Poly Haven Shed scene…
…then @JamesRay suggested it’d be cool if there was a lock to go along with the key, and what was meant to be a quick and easy asset turned into a week-long project requiring hard-surface modeling, extensive texture painting, and working through the side effects of my 2nd Covid booster shot.
It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too.
