What happened to these great tutors is pretty unknown and could be very unfortunate, but why this happen now and then? I am referring to Kernon Dillon of BlenderNewbies, Apollo from Blender Underground, GreyBread to name a few.

Or they just simply loose interest in making quality tutorials as they have done in past?

I really admired the way they taught Blender, (specially the basic principles and whatnot) when I was very new to this platform.

They did kinda fall off. The last I herd Kernon finished up his DVD series. It seemed to run way over the release date. I don’t know if that is a fact, but seemed that way. CGCookie, Blender Guru and Blender Nerds come to mind now for tutorials. Kinda a whole new set of folks diving into it. Maybe thats why we have seen the other sites come to a halt.
