Hi everyone,
I’d like to share with you all the project I just completed.
I modelled everything in blender, textured in substance painter, animated initially in blender and eventually the second part of the video ultimate in unreal engine because ov the volumes that were to much to be calculated.
I struggled with some parts, especially the animation not being my subject, but I had a lot of fun.
Just browse 10 minutes on BA and read some posts, you will be upgraded immediately and then you are allowed to attach more than 1 image.
And, as far as I know, you are allowed to post link to your other socials unless it’s a self promotion. In this case you can post just 1 post per week with promotion link.
But don’t trust me, it’s better reading the FAQ section
What an awesome first post… and thanks for not using the ghibli style but using this almost realistic style which does fit very nicely to the 3D-ification of this… and also the presentational anitmation…
Looks great!
How did you create such beautiful clouds?
Could you render Marco Pagot on sand in 16:9 aspect ratio? - I would like to set this render as a wallpaper on my laptop
Hi DorianJ,
for the static renders I used procedural volumetric clouds.
For the animation I used VDB into unreal engine.
Despite the fact I own a 4090, volumes in blender are difficult to manage unfortunately.
This is very cool! I like it a lot. Perhaps his scarf should be whipping about a bit more energetically? I’ve been hanging on a wing ready to skydive before and the wind is intense, that I remember well
