Thanks to the few people giving me some C&C up till now. Thanks to skypa, IanC and Framedworld for all the help with indigo. Thanks to Fried for helping me out with the rims, and to everyone from #SMC and #Blenderchat for all the directions, C&C and moral support. If I forgot someone: “sorry”.
Looks really good, Jacco. Especially the first render, the Indigo looks a bit grainy, which works on the background but not on the car. Maybe render the background in Indigo and composite the car into the scene? I might have it confused with the Gimp Postpro. Anyway, the car in the first image looks much better than the second, imo.
The only substantive crit I’ve got is the shape of the tires. The weight of the car isn’t flattening them out where they touch the ground. Mostly it isn’t noticable because of the lighting, but the front passenger side (assuming an American model) tire is backlit, and you can see that very little tire is touching the ground. It would have to have something like 250 psi to maintain that shape and support the weight of the car (of course, that’s exactly what Porche may have done. Aircraft tires routinely carry that much pressure.)
A small detail, and one easily fixed (I can say that, but I’m not looking at a 17 hour render time… )
Acctualy thats only a half an hour render, but indigo 0.6 t6 is having problems with certain settings, making it crash after some time.
Don’t hesitate to add some stars, that way more people will come and visit.
Please take those rims off the 550… Other than that, it looks like a good render - I would really like to see the car without the post processing stuff like grain / blur though.
Servo888, that grain isn’t post pro! I wrote “original image”. That means: no post pro. And before you sprout nonsense, go sit in shame for not knowing that’s an indigo render while I wrote it underneith.
