I’ve had a WIP for a couple of days and just finished it. I’ll try to delete it from the WIP forum so it’s not a cross-post.
I think it turned out way better than I ever dreamed. Now I just need to come up with some cool poses and animate him! “Hey, baby, wanna kill all humans?”
PS: I even put armatures in his antenna thingy. I thought I might need that :).
Bender has been a favorite of mine for a while. He sits just above my monitors.

Needs some work. His head is too short and fat, his legs might need to be a bit smaller, and his arms are too long. But that shouldn’t be too hard to fix. Basically it’s good, just needs some tweaking.
Yeah, I used a few reference photos and some legal cough episodes I downloaded to get the detailsclose, but I still need to tweak the dimensions.
…I REALLY need to work on my Bender, maybe finish him sometime this decade…
Great work. What I like is his expression. C&C would be that Bender has square shaped pupils not rounded. Also imho his head and body are too monolithic. The toon shading makes the image nice.
I also modelled a Bender (I if someone is interested . http://www.volny.cz/ctth/Bendercolorn.jpg) because I love Futurama. It was in WIP forum in February and I haven’t finished it since now. I’m working on scene of him as a cooker :).
I can’t wait to see his antenna animated.

I wanted to make a Bender model myself a while ago, but didn’t since it wouldn’t really increase my modelling skills. There are some flaws in the proportions of your model, but otherwise very good. I’m looking forward to anim’s!
