Hello! I have a problem.
I try to pose my model. I created seams, then initiate face sets by them. Then I chose a Pose Tool and set “Rotation Origins” setting to “Face Sets”.
Then I am trying to move a lower part of the leg for example and its okay. But if I choose another part there are something wrong. Selected part rotates without connect to next one. You can see the problem on a gif I append.
I also tried restart blender, redo seams and face sets, check the settings. All the same.
Also there are no modifiers or any masks on the mesh. And I tried to do it on another model and there are it works perfectly. It means problem with this model, not in settings or in blender (v3.1.2)
Interesting… learned another feature of the sculpting possibilities… Anyway: i think automasking to face sets doesn’t help here try without (in my simple example this works better, also face set boundaries behaves strange with the pose tool).

Maybe someone can see what is the problem. I copied the object in to new scene (in the same blend file) and there are no problems with that tool. You can open my project and choose a scene on top right corner. Maybe I should report it as a bug and devs check what is it?
Okay, guys! The problem was with two checkboxes on the top right “Options” menu. I had two checkboxes marked opposite ‘Face Sets’ and ‘Face Sets Boundary’. If you turn them off, then everything becomes fine. I’ll be more careful next time. And it’s worth reading the official manual more
