I think I’ve found a bug in Eevee, but I want to check here first before maybe submitting an official bug report
When using Blender on a virtual machine, I’m seeing graphical glitches when using multiple materials in Eevee.
When assigning multiple materials to a mesh, only some of the mesh faces show their assigned material correctly. When moving materials up and down in the material list then mesh faces seem to appear and disappear in a strange way. Here’s a short video clip of the strange behaviour:
I get the same problem for both Blender 2.81 and 2.82 on:
- Ubuntu 19.10 on VMware
- Ubuntu 19.10 on KVM
- CentOS 8 on VMware
I can’t replicate this on my physical desktop machine.
Could this be a bug or am I missing something here?
