I have a character using a multires modifier, level 0 for posing and level 2 for render. When wanting to animate finer details like skin wrinkling around the eyes as they close, I need to sculpt these details on at least a multires level 2. Doing so applies the sculpt onto the character permanently so I can’t animate it as a shapekey 0 - 1.
Is it possible for me to duplicate my character, sculpt a shape on the duplicate and then transfer this shape back to the original character as a shapekey that I can then animate on a 0-1 value?
I’ve been trying several ways for the past couple of hours with no success. Thanks
