Does anyone know of any websites where I can upload my image and then let that company print out my poster-sized pictures? I’ve been doing a little research, but have found those services to be a little expensive, 30 bucks a pop. Also, I only want one poster, most websites have a minimum of like 500. Any help is appreciated.
poster printing is a lot of labor
the more traditional method (use for example on newspapers) is from computer (or physical artwork) to film to printy-thingie (I forget, it is an alumimunm sheet with stuff on it) to paper. Repeat if you want more than one color (4 times unless they chose to go with indexed colors)
I doubt you could find it cheap or easy
(oh, supposedly some copy places can print poster sized, but it will not be much cheaper)

ok this is what you do.
you look in the yellow pages for a print shop.
you ring em up and ask how much it is for a full colour print on gloss paper at a certain size (the size of your poster)
then shop around till its a reasonable price.
now ask if you can e-mail an image to them or alternativly jsut take it on CD to them.
my cousin owns a print shop here in NZ and i just go in, often they can print while i wait or i can pick it up later. and they cna print on nearly any size up to A1. this is a digital printer so you cna print 1 if you want or 10.
