Apparently the forum crashes.

I have an image high res - 4000 x 4000 render out of blender.

Apparently it is 8557 kb [8.5.mb] in size.

I would like to keep it that big - distance shot - or close to that size.

Is there a size limit on posting images on the blender forum’s?

And if there is, what website can I free host it to post it.

There is a size limit. It is mentioned in the upload dialog.

If you can’t/won’t resize your image, you might consider trying pasteall.org.
