Posting new threads or replies takes very long time to publish

Dear Moderators,
As you can see I am a new user, but I have created two threads already and have posted two replies until now. The first thread I created took about half an hour to be published, which is ok. The second post I made as a reply to that first thread was published about two hours after i submitted it, which is still ok since I am a new user. But then I posted a reply to two other peoples’ threads, and it took almost 10 hours until they got published. Then I replied again to my first thread and it still hasn’t been published, almost for seven hours now, and I have created another thread which hasn’t been published either for about the same amount of hours. Does the size of the images affect the time it’s posted? I understand that my post won’t be published in a second, but I think that seven hours is too much. Is it possible that my posts got caught by the automoderation?
Also, am I going to be able to have a signature, or how is it determined?

Anyway, I don’t complain, I just want you to know this in case it’s a technical problem.
Thank you for your time.

-Jonathan

Also, am I going to be able to have a signature, or how is it determined?

Top of forum select ‘Settings’ then ‘Edit Signature’. Note: for signature restrictions see FAQ

I don’t have any option like that in my settings, and what about the long time it takes to publish?

You were likely running into troubles because you had fewer than 10 posts. As mentioned in the site’s FAQ, users with fewer than 10 posts are under higher scrutiny and are automatically routed to the moderation queue as a spam-prevention mechanism. You now have more than 10 posts, so you should be fine now.

Any way thank you, now my posts are published almost immediately and I am now able to edit my signature.

This is an automated message - since the last reply was more than 3 months old, I auto-marked it as the solution. If you still need help, just post a new reply.
