Hey blender artists. Finally i´m here again. I would like to show you my last project, the first of an artworks collections. This collection will be based on characters that appear in paintings that i love. This is the first, a character based on a character that appears in a Van Gogh painting: “The Potato Eaters”. Very nice interpretation! I totally forgot about this painting until you referenced it here. My only critique is that in your version, the subject looks a little too content for someone surviving on little else but potatoes.
