From a few other threads, you may have gathered that I’m in the business for a new notebook. I’ve changed my mind as far as purchasing options go, and I’ll be buying only a notebook for the time being, not a notebook and desktop.
That doesn’t mean my budget has increased, however, as I feel that I shouldn’t have to spend more than $1,400 for a quality machine.
Amazon has the FZ160 at $1,300.
Major specs:
2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor
2GB RAM
200 GB HD
Circuit City has the same machine with a slightly slower processor (1.8ghz) for $1,149:

What are your opinions of these?
Is there going to be any noticable difference between the 1.8ghz and the 2ghz processor?
Am I paying to much for these specs?
Of all the options I’ve encountered, these satisfy my wants entirely.
Now I need a second opinion to be sure.
