povanim (update: may 24) : profile and paths to corrections

I see, that worked. So basically all the old modules/functions are still in _Blender, so that is why you also have access to the World module.
I’m sure other export script writers might find this very useful information. Thanks!

Ok, see my answer in the thread: getRawFromObject()

first of all i am a total n00b in with pov-ray and blender. anyways. i managed to get this script work and i rendered an image with povray. but there are always some things missing with the final povray render. is there somethings that can not be exported to povray. curves or such. i think that meshes are showing at least.

You are right: for the moment only meshes. A limit of the API python.

You’re mad! Thanx for your HARD WORK :Z

There was a problem with anim export in this version but it is corrected now.

Oh well… just as the MakeHuman team release the new version and my job will be complete, I’ll throw myself in PovAnim.
Thank you, jms!

There is yet a few problems with the main windows buttons
(noanimcamera, noanimmaterial, noanimlamp) …
and I just see that exportation of a one frame animation
(!! ) returns an error in povray . At least 2 frames are needed.

Always the same directories…

The last version is the povanim226_14g.
I am planning to write a converter from the povanim files to “.m3d”
