Practising cinematic lighting in Blender

I’ve been using BigMediumSmall assets and Scatter+Botaniq.
Hope I can get some criticism. Thanks!

This is a very good piece in my opinion… I don’t know why these toxic, dangerous Chernobyl like scenes are so fascinating to me…

Same haha! I’ve really enjoyed Chernobyl miniseries, packed with that kind of aestethics.

You’re on the #featured row! :+1:

Thank you very much!

These look great!
They really have a cinematic feeling to it!
In some of them, the low DOF makes them look a bit like a miniature, not sure if that is the intention.
This is because using wide-angle lens like that typically have a large DOF (everything pretty much in focus) unless they are focusing really close (at macro distances) that would be my only criticism.
Really good work on the lighting, framing and composition, and those particles in the air really give the scene depth and a nice quality to the air!
Well done!

Amazing work as always my friend! Excellent! :slightly_smiling_face:

Couple of new renders. Inspired by Caspar David Friedrich. Rendered in Cycles and post-processed in Photoshop.
