Just got off blender.org site and checked the “manual meter”
over 1000 books were ordered 
and well before X-MAS
Wish I could have it right now !!! Will just have to wait :-?

I saw the meter at 999 and I figured that was some sort of sign… I had been debating ordering the manual and that just seemed to be my que. Thank you everyone! We did it!

Aside from helping me learn more about the 2.3X series,
It makes me feel like I’ve contributed something tangible.

Are we going to do some shadow counting here now? I rather look at the numbers first hand - which in this case is on the blender.org site

1021 now, but I don’t know if that’s a good sign. They wanted 1000 before Christmas, but only 697 people have payed yet. So that’s still 303 copies that must be paid in 6 days, if they really wanted a thousand copies sold.
500 copy must be sold for the book to be printed out. So we safe now, the other 500 copy is to get elysiun or other comunity website online another year.
Has anyone actually gotten a copy yet? When I check my account at the store it said that the order had shipped, but that was a few weeks ago.
I had an email after asking a shipping question, which stated they expected to ship by mid January.

OK - Just received an e-mail from the Blender Shop. I was confused because my account screen said “order shipped”, but the e-mail confirmed they will not ship until January.
I have to say though with the the speed of light enhancements that Ton is working on, the manual may be outdated by the time we all get it!
