Pressure sensitivity in new Blender - for UV texture painting

We’ve been playing around with the pressure sensitivity settings in the new Blender version 2.43-RC1, and specifically with the UV map painting tool. We are using a Wacom tablet.

The software GUI has a “P” to select whether one wants to make a specific attribute pressure sensitive (e.g. brush opacity or size), but it does not seem to have any effect on the brush when you paint.

Does anyone know whether version 2.43-RC1 already fully supports pressure sensitivity for UV map painting? Or is it still being completed? We thought Blender may need to be informed elsewhere that a tablet is being used, so we had a look under Blender’s preferences, but could not pick up anything.

I’ll check it out a bit more before I log it as a bug.

It seems to be working. It did not want to work when my colleague tried it, but I think he may not have done a proper Wacom software installation.
