Prevent objects from clipping through each other?

Is it possible to prevent objects from clipping through each other in Blender?

For example, making a face or edge solid so that no other face\edge will pass through it?

No, there is no such thing like collision pyhsics that prevent that by editing.
If you post a .blend file or screenshot we might help you with your issue or explain it further.

No, not such function. But you could try snap on surface, it helps a bit.

if you mean in the viewport when modelling, no, am afraid not. however, if you intend to do that as some sort of animation, yeah there is.
