Preview Alpha Channel/Transparency in Textured openGL mode (GLSL)

Hi

it looks like Blender can NOT show the alpha channel or transparency value in realtime in openGL while being in Textured mode.

It only works in Solid shading. Is that right? Any way how to make it work?

The object itself has the show option turned on to show transparency and it renders fine. Just preview in Textured mode isnt fine.

]Are you saying you want to show transparency while in textured view or do you need something in addition to this.
If so then it does it fine while in Textured view mode with GLSL selected.

test-1.blend (60.2 KB)

You don’t seem to have GLSL enabled. I have turned it on in your file as well as attaching the blend for my previous image.

OMG yes I did not work with 2.4 for such a long time that I forgot the GLSL switch in the main menu.
