I’ve got a short simple animation I’ve created and rendered. I can import it, along with a sound file into the sequencer. I’m trying to find a way to preview the animation with sound to see if it’s sync’d up properly.
A couple of questions:
I have the scrub button enabled in the audio settings panel, which I thought was supposed to preview the sound when I changed frames. I hear nothing. Am I supposed to hear a short clip of sound at that point in the animation?
Do I have to render the video each time and preview it in my own media player each time to check for correct audio syncing of the sound?
Is there a way to preview the animation (even in wireframe) with the sound?
Is there some other free tool that I could use to more easily accomplish this? I’m used to just using Audacity along with mencoder to do this just using trial and error. I thought using the Blender sequencer was a much better way. Any help in this regard would be awesome.
Thx. RQ
