Problem Baking Normals in blender

This is my first post, so Hi everyone!
I’ve been having a problem trying to bake the normal maps of a high poly mesh into a retopo one, using cycles and “bake from selected to active” function.
I started learning blender almost a year ago, and these optimizing tools for video game creation are new for me, so probably I’m doing something terribly wrong; I’ll upload a couple of screenshots.

Where the high poly and low poly objects in the same location when you baked the normals ? If not then they should have been.

For some extraordinary reason you didn’t supply any demo blend file for review !!! Something that should be done for ALL support questions.
