I am writing a very simple exporter for animated models and need the world coordinates of mesh vertices for every frame.
I used the Object>Apply Deformation script in the latest version of Blender:
Blender.Run(Blender.Get(“scriptsdir”) + “\object_apply_def.py”)
deformed_object = Blender.Object.GetSelected()
data = deformed_object.getData()
and got vertex locations from data. This works for Vertex Key deformations, but not for deformations caused by the Armature.
