Problem importing SVG from Inkscape

Hi,

I’m having some problems importing a path from Inkscape into Blender. I’ve done this before a while ago with 2.44 but I can’t seem to get it to work now. The path is a text object in Inkscape that has been converted into a path. I’ve tried importing an Inkscape svg file and a plain svg format file too. I get the same error in the terminal each time. Below is what shows up in the terminal. Also, I’ve tried the different constrain variations (that pop up when you choose the import file) and all seem to result in the same script error. Any clues? :

Checking for installed Python... got it!

well ive tested it on my PC i works well or try to upgrade blender version (SVN) or inkscape (0.45.1)

I got home yesterday and tried it out on my linux box and it worked fine. Then when I got back in to work today (on XP) it seemed to work. Maybe this machine just needed to reboot. Dunno. Thanks for the reply though.
