I realy need help…
Jacco;
Any video in particular?
all of them.
I have never had that problem… my only suggestion is to get the latest version of windows media player, and that might fix it. otherwise I dont why it would do that.
Microsoft suggests:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0066.mspx
get winamp
Better yet, get MPlayer and VLC.
i have vlc
winamp’s library is good for songs though vlc is best for movies
I tried downloading the newest version of WMP but its nothelping…
I’ll try VlC

I’ve tried Vlc and its not helping either.
prolly my vid card. any idea’s to get this right again?

Well one way to, probably, fix it, but I doubt you would want to do this, is to copy off all your data you have on your computer, and then reformat it, to start from scratch… I have had to do that I variety of times with my computer when I have had problems. My only other suggestions, if you have not allready, then to scan for viruses, with norton or something. Or mabey something you installed, installed a dll or driver that is messing up your player, but other than that I honestly have know idea.
use AVG it’s FREE!!
and SPYBOT it’s FREE!!
I have AVG its FREE
no virusses

Hmm…get latest drivers for your card?
I have tried the new driver. nothings helps.

You said the video gets shaky when you adjust the brightness. Is it the monitor’s brightness or the media player’s brightness setting? Does the same thing happen in all video players you tried?
Also, does it with both AVI and MPEG files? Try the latter and see if it works…if it does, you might be missing the correct AVI codecs.
I have the codecs, its when I igher the media player resolution. my screen is always on brightest. it doesn’t happen in quicktime.

Hmm…ok. I guess you might be better off asking at a forum specialized in video-related issues (Google for one…). Formatting should always be the last option.
