Problem linking rigged character

Hi there. I’m having a hard time linking a rigged character into another scene. In the zip below, in ButterflyScene.blend I have a scene into which I linked a rigged butterfly from ButterflyBest.blend. The butterfly model and skeleton form a group. I linked the group, then I made the skeleton a proxy. At that point, I can move it around, pose it, etc. But as soon as I close the file, then re-open it, the butterfly model is distorted and no longer aligned with the skeleton. I have done this with simpler models and seems to work. I would love to know what it is about this one that is wrong. I would really appreciate some help if you have any insights. Thanks in advance!
