Problem mapping a texture to fire?

It seems like no matter what I try I can’t get it right. Here is a messed up render, and the texture settings.

I think your gradient might be backwards. You also may want to try to keep the red portion tighter and fade from red to a black w/ 0% opacity.

If that’s not it, I think you need to provide more info on what you’re trying to achieve exactly.

Oh sorry, I was tired when I posted this, I meant to tell you what I want. Yellow on bottom, red on top.
