Problem starting game engine

Hi everybody.
I’m just starting my first project wit 2.57.
I’ve modeled my character and textured it.
When I start the Game Engine (P key) , the model dissapears.
But it physic is there.
Is a strange effect than never happened with 2.49 version.

Any idea? what am I doing wrong?

There is bugs with 2.57 which I’ve experienced, but it could be that you manually created faces which means the nodes aren’t connected and will cause it to disappear in the game engine. To fix I’ve merged my nodes together, and it fixes it.
