Problem using F-key

When I use the F-key on this model it becomes ugly. How will i fix this?

IRL complex objects are made of multiple smaller objects. In Blender you should make them the same way. Say you want a smooth cylinder and the hexagon shaped solid object coming out of the side. Simply make them two objects, the cylinder needs some loop cuts, and then set it to smooth.

Whoa I realized that I already answered this in that thread. What is wrong with the solution??? At first I didn’t notice that you had created both threads. Trust me multiple objects are the way to do with this. I suggest you watch Jonathon Williamson’s porsche modeling series on Blender Cookie.
