Problem when baking

Hi, I’m having a problem when I try to bake, I use diffuse and select to active, and selecting Just “Color” all is okay,

but when I bake with “direct” and “indirect” there is a weird result.


(I tried with a cage but the result is the same)

I think the problem is that the two objects have the same size, and pretty much the same shape, but I don’t know what to do, should I always scale the High Polly?

(I have modified the “max ray distance” to different values from 0 to 1, but on all the values the result is the same)

You might have a duplicate mesh. Go into edit mode and tweak one of the vertices to se if you do, then, if so, ctrl L and delete. Or remove doubles, whichever.

Thank you for your answer, :slight_smile: unfortunately no, but, the problem it’s for the HP faces, being in the same place and shape as the LP ( I have scalated a little the HP and the problem solves), but I don’t want to need to scale to bake, I feel that it’s not a solution and I am doing something wrong.

(the HP and LP are pretty much the same shapes, just small changes in some parts)
