and i get the following results as u can see on the 3d view of the right side something is wrong with the legs.

It’s a bone roll issue. The legs should have the bone’s z-axis pointing either forwards or backwards, then the copy & paste flipped pose will work. for arms, when the character is standing in a t-pose, the z-axis of the bones should point upwards or downwards. It is the rotation on the bone’s x-axis that gets copied and flipped, hence all the crazy stuff you got going on…

Thank You Randy, recalculating the bone rolls fixed the problem.
