Problem with auto weight paint same blender file but on pc and mac

Aloha All,

This is my first post so i hope i’m adding it to the right area.

I’m working on a project for my day job, i needed to create a character for a advertisement and it need to be animatable.

I started of the project at home with my Windows 10 pc and did little work on a MAC that at work, this includes modeling, texturing and generates bones for rigging. But when it came down to auto weight paint the MAC deformed the mesh

but doing the same function on a PC everything worked properly.

Im wondering why would this happen? and how could i fix the issue in the future, since the company that i work for wants me to train staff on how to use blender for simple animations and Mocap in the near future but they only want to work on MAC’s.

I’m having a similar issue. Shared a Blender with my team file in a Unity project. I’m on PC and all is well. Bu on Macs the mesh is not bound to the armature. Anyone else running into this?

FIX: Thanks to YouTube channel CGDive i found out what was happening.
