So, I was trying blender own texture generating capabilities. I created a checker texture and placed in on the mesh. However it is not working the way i want. As you can see in the image texture in overlapping in the highlighted areas. i want the texture on entire mesh to appear as it is appearing on sides. i did apply the scale, tired different ways to unwrap but nothing is working.
Please share node-tree so we can see what is going on
The problem you’re having is only the result of having those uv’s placed right on the line where the checker texture flips the colors.
You need to adjust your UVmap to keep the your walls outside the areas you’re pointing out. And this cannot be done just by using the Unwrap function. You need to adjust those uvs manually (or find a scale value that works in the U and V direction, though this may be more of a mathematical problem).
