problem with camera tracking

I tracked some avi footage with Icarus and Voodoo. When I import the tracking results from Icarus into Blender for some reason the camera doesn’t quite match the movements in Icarus. It sometimes faces the wrong way, is in the wrong position or it has erratic movements. Anyone know how to fix this? Also I tried Voodoo and I set the initial camera position and rotation parameters so the camera is in the starting position that I want. But when I import this into Blender the camera isn’t in the initial position where I want it to be at all though it does the correct tracking. How can I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using VooDoo camera tracker instead. Icarus is very old and slow in comparison. VooDoo does a very good job when it isn’t crashing due to ATI graphics card compatibility problems. I haven’t used it in a long time so that also may be a thing of the past. Try it and see. I was thoroughly unimpressed with Icarus though.
