Problem with Material assignment in Cycles.


I’ve assigned the material (The gold background to the omega logo) to the selected vertices. Yet, if one looks closely it will show as not filling the inset portion; it stops partway through a set of quads.

Any explanation?

Is it perhaps due to the subsurf modifier?

How do I solve it? :slight_smile:

EDIT: Switching Viewport shading to Materials, shows the correct area covered, as does Rendered Viewport Shading.
