Problem with my eyes!!! Help please!

Hi All,

I’m having a terrible time rigging eyes. So much so I made up blend file which I have included here - a very basic design. The rig included the following armatures:

Armature to the head called: head_armature
armature for sight-view: sight_view (used to track around so the eyes follow it)
armature for left eye: left_eye
armature for right eye: right_eye

How I thought you do it.

Parented head_armature to head CRTL+P
parented left_eye armature to eye sphere
parented right_eye armature to [right] eye sphere
tried to parent both left and right eye armatures to sight_view armature.

Clearly this is not right way to do it here. Can someone provide me with basic step by step process to get this all right?

Here is my fairly standard eyeball rig. feel free to use and adapt.

You can move the individual eyes with the two outside bones and both eyes with the center ons, I use this to avoid looking cross eyed when the target bone is too close.
