Hi, I modeled this object in 3ds max (I use it at my uni) and imported it to blender’s viewport as fbx.
I’ve used blender before althougt righ now my understanding of max is better.
Anyway, straight to the point, I did a quick unwrap in max just to preview, because uvw map doesn’t seem to be exported (to blender, or any program I guess). But since the unwrap looked quite messy I switched to object generated coordinates and box project on the textures. The thing is that it seems to still take into account the uv coordinates.
I’d like to delete the uvw map. I’m on 2.8 daily builds I know, but this is what I wanna use and I guess this should be working just fine.
